For the studios shaping the Lower Mainland: Chapel Arts is an 8,000 sq ft production partner in Railtown that speaks both craft and CAD — custom furniture, millwork and trade machining for the people who draw the rooms.
The West Coast look, done properly.
There’s a reason interiors here keep coming home to wood. From Gastown restaurants to North Shore houses, the brief keeps landing in the same place: natural materials, visible craft, forms that feel grown rather than assembled. It’s a look that punishes shortcuts — a live-edge table reads as luxury when the surface is dead flat and the finish suits the room, and reads as a craft-fair find when it isn’t.
Chapel Arts sits on the production side of that line. The same East Vancouver floor that builds our own collections runs trade work for design practices across the region — machining, flattening, sanding and finishing at a scale most workshops can’t touch, with a craftsman’s hand on every surface that shows.

Warm minimalism
Fewer pieces, better ones: walnut tones against plaster, stone and steel, with detail your client notices the third time, not the first. Quiet rooms need loud craftsmanship.
Local species, lighter footprint
Specifying regional wood is no longer a compromise — it's the brief. Urban and rural walnut, oak, maple and BC's own arbutus, ethically sourced and dried in-house.
Statement hospitality
Communal tables, bar tops and boardrooms that anchor the room, photograph like a hero shot, and shrug off a decade of service.
